If you want to convert more people on your website, and you’ve looked over your SEO content, made it a user-friendly website to use, and have call to actions everywhere, there’s still a place you need to look at.
Your ABOUT US page. The content on this page can make someone trust you more, engage with you more and make them want to buy from you. It can also do the opposite of all of those things.
When I see a website that’s obviously not a huge corporation, the About Us page is one of the first pages I visit. And I’m not alone! We can see our visitors also feel the same way about our website.
Even if you are shy, and still wish the internet never made photos and info of us necessary, a good About Us page is one of the fastest, and simplest methods of trust building there is.
In this episode we’re going to cover some of the common mistakes people make when writing an about us page, what you should include, what not to include, whether you have to have photos of yourself, and of your team, and how an About Us page for a solopreneur can look different to one for a business with a team (we’ll cover both)
We’ll also talk about boundaries.
