company pages actually served three masters.
So you've got the HR team that want to attract good employees and they kind of owned it
originally.
So if we go back to what linkedin was back in the beginning, it's always been about HR and recruitment
back, you know, over the last 20 years or so.
So HR runs the page.
They're attracting employees, putting ads out there to get new positions hired and you
know, that's the master of company pages, so that's what it served, you know?
And so then all of a sudden, you know, along come the marketing team and they're like no we're going to use
this, look it's free, you know, we can we can just talk about us, us us us
and it reads like ads and nobody likes.
That's, you know, that's why they invented netflix, right?
So because none of us like ads and then you fast forward and then social selling becomes a thing.
The sales team want their piece.
