What would you rather have? 10 thousand people on your email list Or 300? We're going for number one - right? Now... What if I said the 10k were a bunch of people who came from a viral post that has little to do with your business, or a list you bought that had lots of people who didn't know who you were, or people from an older business model and the 300 were from a super targeted lead magnet that talked directly to your ideal customer? Hopefully you'd choose the 300 - right? For small businesses - it's NOT JUST THE NUMBER It's 100% the quality. People often are ashamed of the numbers of people o their email list - but you can do a lot with little, if it's the right little. I worked with a building company where we created a downloadable resource that talked directly to the ideal client's needs. Only about sixty people downloaded it over a year. But out of that, seventy percent (a far higher conversion rate than I have every experienced by the way) became clients. It's not the number. Just because you're getting action doesn't mean you'll bring in the action. Yeah? I'm seeing some marketers saying lead generation tactics like this don’t' work anymore. I'm not finding that I reckon what they mean to say is "random free crap that doesn't add actual insight and build trust" doesn't work anymore. and THANK GOODNESS for that! Rest assured- when we work together we find the best option for you that meets for your ideal client's biggest pyschological triggers and helps the thenn connect hat with your offer. I can't promise you a 70% conversion rate... But I can promise you'll it will work #emaillist #leadmagnet #leadgeneration #SmallBusinessOwner #whichisbetter
